Attention switches to the regional derby

The team will not drop their heads, knowing that the battle for their objective will go down to the wire.

There are 21 points available and Valencia CF lie just one behind the European places. The squad are hurt by their loss against SD Eibar but they know they have to bounce back for the final run-in. With this in mind, Ferran Torres took to social media on Thursday night, saying: "There's no time to give up,we have to focus on Villarreal"

There are seven finals to go, starting with the regional derby on Sunday 28th of June at 5pm against cross-region opposition. It is the perfect opportunity to end the away day curse, with the European places still within reach -the battle for which is set to go down to the wire.
